जमशेदपुर:-इंग्लैंड की राजधानी लंदन के वेस्ट मिडलैंड्स स्थित वॉल्सॉल में भारतीय नवयुवती पर हुए नस्लीय हमले को लेकर चल रही एक टीवी डिबेट में भारतीय मूल की नवयुवती , झारखंड के जमशेदपुर स्थित खासमहल निवासी तथा पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिला परिषद की प्रथम उपाध्यक्ष रहीं श्रीमती अनिता सिंह की छोटी बेटी सुरभी कुमारी ने लंदन में अत्यंत बेबाक और निर्भीक तरीके से भारत का पक्ष रखीं। सुरभी ने स्पष्ट कहा कि यह सिर्फ एक व्यक्ति पर हमला नहीं, बल्कि विदेशों में भारतीयों के प्रति बढ़ते नस्लीय भेदभाव का गंभीर संकेत है।
उन्होंने ब्रिटिश प्रशासन की निष्क्रियता पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि भारत सरकार को इस मामले को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उठाना चाहिए, क्योंकि यह भारतीय नागरिकों की सुरक्षा और सम्मान का प्रश्न है।
डिबेट के दौरान यह भी कहा गया कि यूके में रह रहे भारतीय छात्रों और पेशेवरों को लेकर भारत सरकार को अधिक सक्रिय भूमिका निभानी चाहिए, ताकि इस तरह की घटनाओं को रोका जा सके।
सुरभी के तर्कपूर्ण और साहसी वक्तव्य को दर्शकों ने सराहा, जिसने भारतीय युवाओं की जागरूकता और आत्मविश्वास को भी प्रदर्शित किया है।

Jamshedpur: In the wake of a racial attack on an Indian girl in Walsall, West Midlands, London, a TV debate in the UK saw an impressive and fearless defense of India by Surbhi Kumari, a young Indian-origin woman.
Surbhi, a resident of Khasmahal, Jamshedpur, and the younger daughter of Mrs. Anita Singh, former first Vice Chairperson of the East Singhbhum Zila Parishad, represented India with remarkable courage and clarity during the discussion.
Surbhi stated firmly that “this is not just an attack on one individual, but a serious indication of the rising racial discrimination faced by Indians abroad.”
She questioned the British administration’s inaction and urged the Government of India to take up the matter at the international level, calling it a question of security and dignity for Indian citizens overseas.
During the debate, participants also discussed the need for greater proactive measures by the Indian government to ensure the safety of Indian students and professionals residing in the UK.
