The Suzuki Baleno has been used as a nameplate by Suzuki for various subcompact cars since 1996 ¹. The Suzuki Baleno was first sold in Europe and Asia-Pacific from 1996 to 2002 and was a rebadged Suzuki Cultus Crescent. It was also produced and sold in India as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno until 2007.
