पाकुड़:- फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन को लेकर 10 फरवरी से शुरू हुए मास ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन कार्यक्रम के तहत उपायुक्त मृत्युंजय कुमार बरणवाल ने अपने गोपनीय कार्यालय कक्ष में डीईसी एवं एल्बेंडाजोल की खुराक ली।इस दौरान उपायुक्त मृत्युंजय कुमार बरणवाल ने जिलेवासियों से फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम की सफलता हेतु अपील करते हुए कहा कि 25 फरवरी तक चलने वाले इस अभियान में डीईसी एवं एल्बेंडाजोल की खुराक अवश्य लें एवं फाइलेरिया रोग को जड़ से मिटाने में प्रशासन की मदद करें। 10 फरवरी से 25 फरवरी तक मास ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन कार्यक्रम के दौरान 10 फरवरी को बूथ पर स्वयंसेवक द्वारा लोगों को अपने सामने दवा खिलाई गई। वहीं छूटे हुए लोगों को 11 से 25 फरवरी तक घर-घर जाकर दवा प्रशासक द्वारा अपने सामने डीईसी एवं एल्बेंडाजोल की खुराक खिलाई जा रही है।
