राजमहल प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी (BDO) मोहम्मद यूसुफ ने प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के अंतर्गत प्रथम किस्त की राशि प्राप्त करने के बावजूद आवास निर्माण नहीं करने वाले दो लाभुकों को पकड़कर तीनपहाड़ थाना को सौंप दिया।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, दरला पंचायत के सरायपुरा गांव निवासी मोहनलाल तिग्गा और दसवा तुरी को लगभग दो वर्ष पूर्व योजना की पहली किस्त मिली थी। इतने समय बाद भी दोनों ने आवास का निर्माण शुरू नहीं किया, जबकि इन्हें कई बार नोटिस भेजा गया था।
BDO ने स्पष्ट किया कि जिन लाभुकों ने सरकार से आवास निर्माण के लिए राशि प्राप्त कर ली है, लेकिन निर्धारित समय में कार्य शुरू नहीं किया, उनके खिलाफ आगे भी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
Two Arrested for Misusing PM Awas Yojana Funds

In a strict administrative move, Rajmahal Block Development Officer (BDO) Mohammad Yusuf handed over two beneficiaries to the police for failing to construct houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), despite receiving the first installment of funds nearly two years ago.
According to reports, Mohanlal Tigga and Daswa Turi, residents of Saraipura in Darla Panchayat, received the first installment under the PMAY scheme but did not begin construction even after a significant delay. The administration had issued several notices to the individuals, but no action was taken on their part.
BDO Yusuf stated that legal action will be taken against all such beneficiaries who have received funds but failed to start or complete the construction of their houses within the stipulated timeframe.
The two accused have been handed over to the Tinpahar police station for further proceedings.
