पलामू :- पलामू जिले में शत-प्रतिशत मतदान करवाने की कवायद शुरू हो चुकी है।इसी कड़ी में 2 मई से ही जिले में होम वोटिंग की प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ है जिसमें बीते गुरुवार को होम वोटिंग के तहत पलामू जिले में कुल 124 वोटर्स ने अपना मतदान अपने घर में ही किया।ज्ञातव्य है कि जिले के वैसे मतदाता जिनकी उम्र 85+ है व दिव्यांग मतदाता जो चलने-फिरने में असमर्थ है उन्हें भारत निर्वाचन आयोग की तरफ से 12 डी फॉर्म के माध्यम से घर में ही मतदान कराने की सुविधा उपलब्ध करायी गयी है।होम वोटिंग के माध्यम से जिले में कुल 478 मतदाताओं से मतदान कराने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। इधर जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त शशि रंजन शुक्रवार को हेरिटेज स्कूल में जारी मतदान का जायज़ा लिया।यहां मतदान कार्य में लगे कर्मियों से मतदातान करवाया जा रहा है जो 6 मई तक चलेगा।इसके अतिरिक्त गिरिवर स्कूल में भी मतदान कराया जा रहा है वहीं पुलिस लाइन में 7 से 9 मई को भी मतदान कराया जायेगा।
